About Us

A network grown from the spirit of sharing knowledge.

Starting from a small discussion between lecturers in June 2020, JPPM grew into a collaborative network that helps lecturers carry out the tri dharma of higher education: finding colleagues, designing activities, and having a real impact on society. JPPM is under the auspices of the Bhamana Aryasuta Parahita Foundation.

JPPM at a Glance

The idea of establishing a Research and Community Service Networkwas first coined by Dr. Tb Ai Munandar, S.Kom., M.T, in early June 2020, which was then followed by the formation of a foundation calledBHAMANA ARYASUTA PARAHITAwhich was registered with a notary and obtained a deed withNumber 19 of June 2020 with notary Sylviyanti, S.H., M.Kn. The foundation was then registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights with the number AHU-0008964.AH.01.04.Year 2020. The existence of the Foundation itself is intended to provide an umbrella for all activities carried out by communities that are members of the Research and Community Service Network (JPPM). JPPM then became part of the Bhamana Aryasuta Parahita Foundation through the formation decree with Number: 10.002/P/YBAP/VI/2020 The idea for the formation of JPPM emerged when seeing the phenomenon of private university lecturers (PTS) who often had difficulty implementing the two dharmas of the tri dharma of higher education, especially when carrying out community service.

Many are faced with financing problems, don't understand how to carry out PKM activities and are confused about finding partners who are ready to carry out activities. Small discussions were carried out by the originator of the idea with colleagues, resulting in the name Network for Research, Potential Development and Community Service or abbreviated as JP4M. On June 30 2020, the JP4M community was formed even though legally it does not yet have any legality.

The first activity carried out in 2020 was holding Collaborative PKM with various private universities in Banten Province, such as Serang Raya University, Banten Jaya University, Mathla'ul Anwar University, STTIKOM Insan Unggul Cilegon, STKIP Setiabudi Rangkasbitung, PGRI Banten Polytechnic, STIE Al Khairiyah and STIE LA Tansa Mashiro Lebak, Banten. There are three big topics which are carried out by dividing each university into these three topics.

The three topics are then called clusters. Cluster 1 focuses on the topic of strengthening online learning at the high school level, the second cluster focuses on the topic of increasing life skills competencies for final year students and the third cluster increases classroom action research competencies for high school teachers throughout Lebak Regency. The three activity clusters ran successfully and smoothly thanks to support from various parties including the PKM implementing lecturer team. Lecturers' enthusiasm for collaborating in activities is getting better. Similar activities were then continued in the following semester until 2022.

As time goes by, for reasons of efficiency in using the name and abbreviation, Research, Potential Development and Community Service Networkwas then changed to Research and Community Service Network or abbreviated as JPPM. The name and abbreviation have been officially used since October 21, 2022.

JPPM's motto is to promote knowledge. As the motto states, knowledge should be one of the pending commodities for society to progress and grow. To progress and grow, society must of course be equipped with knowledge according to its needs. Don't let science only develop in the academic environment, but have poor implementation in the real world.
