JPPM Signs an MoU with the Bayah Dome Geopark Management Agency

Lebak, 28 December 2022 - Towards the end of 2022 the Research and Community Service Network (JPPM) is strengthening its commitment to continue to synergize with activity partners. One of JPPM's partners is the Bayah Dome Geopark Management Agency (BP Geopark Bayah Dome) Lebak Regency, Banten Province.

After long discussions, finally on Wednesday 28 December 2022, at 13.00 until the end, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between JPPM and BP Geopark Bayah Dome. The contents of the MoU include collaborative research and community service activities which will be carried out by a team of lecturers who are members of the Research and Community Service Network. BP Director H. Ir. Engkap Kapriadi stated that he really welcomed the MoU efforts being implemented. On the one hand, BP is also opening up opportunities for MoUs with other agencies as a form of BP's seriousness in moving towards a National Geopark. He also hopes that activities as a derivative of the MoU can run routinely and smoothly.

The Chairman of JPPM (Tb Ai Munandar) in a few words stated that he was very happy that finally the lecturers who are members of the Research and Community Service Network have a suitable place for community service activities. Tb also added that in the future JPPM hopes that this synergy can be mutually beneficial for both parties and can mutually support each party's work programs and activities. On the same occasion, the chairman of JPPM asked for permission from the Director of BP if a team of lecturers who were members of JPPM planned to make BP Geopark a partner for implementing grants for both research and community service.
