The feasibility verification (VK) activity was attended by the proposing team consisting of: Team Leader, Finance, partners and a team of verifiers from the Ministry of Education and Culture.
The event was held at the Novotel Tangerang Hotel from 08.00 WIB until 17.00 WIB. This verification activity aims to re-present the proposal that has been uploaded via the tokoreka platform in front of the reviewer and verifier of the activity budget plan (RAB). Carrying the main theme of tourism, the JPPM team and permanent lecturers from the Informatics Study Program at Bhayangkara University took the title "Bayadome Geotours: Development of a Smart Geotours Application Based on a Recommendation System for Increasing Geosite Management Capacity at the Bayah Dome Geopark Management Agency".
The aim of this activity is to build collaboration with partners in solving problems faced by partners through downstream research products. So that the problem of managing the Bayah Dome Geopark can be resolved. Thus, the perceived benefit is the availability of facilities for downstreaming research products and supporting the achievement of the University's KPI. Apart from that, it is also a suggestion for collaboration with partners to increase lecturer capacity. Meanwhile, for partners, the benefit obtained is having new technology that can be used to solve partner problems.
The MF 2023 program, which is led by a team of lecturers from UBHARAJAYA and founders of JPPM, offers innovation to solve the problems faced by partners. It requires a smart device with more complete features and only works in one hand (mobile based) where all the needs of managers, visitors and interested parties can easily access, find out, visit geosites without having to be busy opening different platforms. The innovation proposed to solve partner problems is to develop a mobile-based intelligent geotours application. This smart application not only contains information on the 32 geosites owned by the Bayah Dome Geopark, which consist of the geodiversity, culturdiversity and biodiversity categories. However, it is also able to provide recommendations for the closest geosite when the user is in a certain geosite area. The recommendations presented are in the form of geodiversity, culturdiversity and biodiversity locations including explanations, as well as the distance traveled and the sequence of routes that must be taken if the geosite objects are in one route. The recommendations presented by the intelligent application will automatically cluster visit packages in the form of a collection of geosites that can be visited in one travel route.
This eligibility verification activity closed with the signing of the activity report by the proposing team, partners and representatives of the 2023 matching fund program team.
