JPPM Opens Registration for National Collaborative PkM Tutors "Smart Gen Z" for Lecturers Throughout Indonesia, Registration Deadline 22 October 2026

The Research and Community Service Network (JPPM), supported by the Bhamana Aryasuta Parahita Foundation, opens opportunities for lecturers from all universities in Indonesia to join as tutors in the National Collaboration Community Service (PkM) program. The activity with the theme “Smart Gen Z: Digital, Financial, Language and Health Literacy for Competitive Students” will take place online via Zoom on 14–28 November 2026.

This program is a routine national collaboration agenda for JPPM and is a forum for lecturers to carry out scientific service to the community. Through a series of interactive educational classes, tutors will share knowledge with secondary school students according to their respective fields of expertise.

This theme was raised because Generation Z grew up amidst the rapid flow of digital information, the rise of illegal online loans and online gambling, as well as increasing mental health pressure on teenagers. Students need to be equipped with digital, financial, language and health literacy to be ready to face challenges and compete at the global level.

Five fields, 20 tutors

JPPM opens opportunities for 20 tutor lecturers, 4 tutors each from five scientific fields:

  1. Informatics – Smart and Safe in Cyberspace: digital footprints, account security and phishing modes, recognizing hoaxes and deepfakes, and wise use of AI for learning.
  2. Economics – Understanding Opportunities and Risks: needs vs desires, FOMO lifestyle traps, the dangers of illegal borrowing, paylater, and online gambling, safe investments, and digital entrepreneurial opportunities.
  3. Accounting – Manage Your Pocket Money Smartly: 50/30/20 budgeting, daily financial recording, saving for goals, and personal financial reporting practices.
  4. Health – Physically and Mentally Healthy Teenagers: managing stress and mental health, the impact of screen time, balanced nutrition, reproductive health, and the dangers of smoking, vaping and drugs.
  5. English – English for Digital Era: global opportunities through English, self-learning with apps and AI, basic public speaking, and writing a professional bio and caption.

In addition to registering individual tutors, JPPM also opens up opportunities for collaboration between universities for institutions that want to be involved in this program.

Tutor terms

The tutor's role in this activity is voluntary without an honorarium from JPPM, as a form of lecturer's scientific service. JPPM acts as a facilitator who provides a forum, online media, and coordinates the implementation of PkM. Tutors will receive a national activity certificate which can support reporting on the Tridharma of Higher Education.
